Chris DiVito appointed Managing Director of FPI MEA

After a three year secondment in Dubai, Marcus Gent will be leaving FPI in September to return with his family to the UK. He will be replaced by Chris DiVito. Marcus joined FPI in August 2014 and guided the MEA branch through some significant change while growing the business throughout that time.
Adrian Emery, CEO FPI, said:
I am pleased to announce that Chris DiVito will join us in September to take over the role of Managing Director, MEA subject to regulatory approval. Chris joins us from the DIFC Authority where, as Senior Vice President and Head of Wealth & Asset Management, he has been responsible for overseeing nearly 200 regulated firms, overseeing the promotion of the DIFC funds regime and supporting the growth of regulated firms operating within the financial hub.
Before joining the DIFC, Chris was the CEO for Standard Life in the Middle East and is also a fellow of the Personal Finance Society, a Chartered Financial Planner and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
