FPI and the IOM FA announce a partnership for the IOM FA Cup over 3 years

Friends Provident International and the Isle of Man Football Association are pleased to announce new partnership arrangements for the Isle of Man Football Association FA Cup for the 2016-2017 season. The tournament will be sponsored by Friends Provident International from 2016 for an initial three year period.

This was announced at a sponsorship evening at the Mannin hotel where the Isle of Man Football Association and Friends Provident International jointly launched and announced the sponsorship to invited guests and the media in advance of the preliminary round draw.

Friends Provident International Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director IOM Steve Weston commented:

We are delighted to announce our sponsorship of the Isle of Man Football Association FA Cup today and look forward to working with the Isle of Man Football Association.

We have a long history of supporting the IOM community and it is a privilege to continue our commitment to the island with such a prestigious tournament. So many of our staff are involved in football on the island at all levels so this agreement is a great fit for so many people at FPI.

Tony Jones Isle of Man Football Association Chairman also commented:

The Isle of Man Football Association FA Cup is undoubtedly our most prestigious cup tournament on the Isle of Man and we are delighted to announce that Friends Provident International has agreed to sponsor the cup competition

Friends Provident International is a significant employer on the Island and has a long association of supporting many different sports and talented sportsmen and women in the Island community.
